Cost & Insurance
A frequent question is: How much does this cost? In an effort to keep the costs reasonable for everyone, we require patients to pay for their treatment at the time of insertion. On request, you will be given an insurance form with the proper codes to submit to your insurance company or HSA plan. You will need to fill out the personal information on the form prior to mailing it. Any insurance reimbursement will go directly to you. There is much variation in coverage for this treatment despite the fact that insurance companies should be clamoring to have you treated, if needed, as it reduces many chronic diseases that are expensive to control in other ways with prescription drugs. A solid case could be made that this treatment will reduce health care costs dramatically.
Female Cost of Treatment?
The cost for a woman in my practice is $550 per insertion. Insertions are typically 4 times a year… every 3 months. Prices very across the country as do the costs of practicing medicine. We encourage our hormone therapy patients to mentally commit to two treatments to give the pellet therapy a fair trial. Around 99% think it is wonderful.
Male Cost of Treatment?
The cost for a man in my practice is $1100 per insertion. Insertions are typically 3 times a year… every 4 months. Prices very across the country as do the costs of practicing medicine. We encourage our hormone therapy patients to mentally commit to two treatments to give the pellet therapy a fair trial. Over 95% think the results are wonderful and plan to continue.
